Marks And Spencer Winter Coat 2018

They're known for their cult items, but Marks & Spencer have so far struggled to recreate a sartorial appetite to rival the insatiable demand that existed for THAT pink winter coat back in 2013.

You remember the one... £85, turn-up sleeves, candy pink hue, oversized lapels. It flew off the shelves within days of launching and saw waiting lists created and extended at a number of the label's high street stores.

And while 2015's £199 suede skirt, a trench coat and a navy constellation-print midi dress have since landed cult status, nothing has quite hit that same level of popularity.

Until - we reckon, anyway - this coat.

Part of the high street stalwart's autumn/winter 2018 collection, we see this being the stand out item.

A fresh take on the pink coat, this one is purple - undeniably the colour of the season, if not the year - similarly duster in style and even softer to touch.

At £89, we predict it will be one of the season's best-selling pieces from the entire high street.

And it's not short of competition... Scroll down to see some more highlights - from outerwear to underwear - from the brand's newest collection.
