The third season of Sex Education has been full of pleasant surprises since dropping on Netflix last week. Not only has it reunited us with our favourite TV cast and nailed a plethora of sex positive narratives, all while managing to be effortlessly witty, but it has brought us a familiar face that you probably weren't expecting to see.
Remember little Robin Arryn in Game of Thrones? Well, he just made his debut on Sex Education.
We know what you're thinking. No way? How did I miss that? The answer is, he looks a lot different now. Not only is he much older but he was wearing a lot less than we're used to seeing him in on GoT. As fans of the hit HBO drama will know, Robin Arryn - played by Brazilian actor Lino Facioli - is the sickly and unbearably immature son of Jon and Lysa Arryn, who in true GoT style, both died after being poisoned and pushed out a window respectively.
Thankfully, there are no deaths involved in Facioli latest gig, which sees him make a cameo on the popular Netflix series as brainy Moordale High student Dex Thompson, who is Maeve Wiley's main competition on the school quiz team and also featured in the previous seasons of the show.
Eagle eyed fans quickly made the link between the two shows, after recognising Facioli's familiar face and quickly spreading the news on Twitter, the general consensus being: how did he grow up so fast?! Especially after we saw him in the scene with his kit off!
“Took me three seasons to notice that Dex is Robin arryn,” one fan tweeted. Meanwhile another was in disbelief, writing: “Excuse me is he ROBIN ARRYN from GAME OF THRONES?” while others described the moment they put two and two together, with one fan tweeting: "hmm this weird guy from sex education season 3 looks really familiar" I think moments before realizing it's little Robin Arryn from Game of Thrones."
