Celebrate The New Lido Ponty And Win 500!

If you thought a fun day at the Lido was a thing of the past...think again! It's reopened and to celebrate we've got £500 to be won!

If you have cherished memories of long summer days and good times spent at Lido Ponty, you're about to be one happy bunny because it's open once again in Ynysangharad War Memorial Park, Pontypridd!

All the fun of yesteryear is back so you can have a great family day out. Best of all, it reopened on Tuesday 25th August and it's FREE entry for the first season - that's a whole lot of free fun to be had!

The Lido was first built in 1927 but now it's back as Pontypridd’s new and exciting outdoor water attraction and adventure play, situated in the picturesque setting of Ynysangharad War Memorial Park.

With so much to do for all ages, there's three heated swimming pools to choose from. Plunge into the 25 metre main pool for a serious swim or a few leisurely lengths. Get drenched in the activity pool as you enjoy the fun inflatables or dip your toes in the heated water and relax on the sun terrace.

There's external and internal showers, heated changing facilities and a learning and visitors’ centre, permanently depicting the history of the Lido and the wider park.

There's also an exciting state of the art dry play area providing all the fun needed for children of all ages with swings, slides and seesaws, imaginative play, climbing, balancing equipment and more!

All that fun is hungry work so stop by Waterside Cafe and tuck into the mouth-watering delights that they have on offer.
